What do people have to say after working with Ken McNabb?
I was watching your TV program on RFD-TV. You were working with an aged Arab mare that was jigging and spoiled. I have a fantastic barrel racing mare that acts the same was on the trail.
I have only worked your program for 2 days and I just can't believe the improvement. I really enjoyed riding her today. Thank you for the great information. - Linda, Pennsylvania |

I just wanted you to know what a great impact your program on mounting from a mounting block has made for me. Having a hip replaced made mounting hard to do, and watching your program changed all that for me. Now I can mount any place, any time at home or on the trail. My horse will let me use a tree stump, picnic table or even a fire pit to mount from. - Bob, Michigan |

I just wanted to let Ken know how much we appreciated having him come to our place...Jeff and I have experienced other trainers and he is by far the most down to earth, comfortable, honest trainer we have dealt with. He makes you feel comfortable and works with each person on their level and with what they would like to accomplish....I have learned so much from Ken and have been able to do a better job starting my own horses. I just wanted to let him know how much we appreciate him and he and his family are always welcome here!- Carrie, Washington |

Ken, I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your common sense approach to horse training that encourages people to spend time just doing things with their horses and spending time riding. Your shows are so unique in covering subject areas that other clinicians do not cover. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly for all you do to help others and their horses.- Shirley Litteer, New York |

I ordered your Mounting Block DVD and began using your techniques to train
my mare. I am not only short, but several years ago I severely shattered
my right ankle and cannot bend it. This makes mounting from the ground
impossible. In the past I have avoided long trail rides because I can't get off and then get back on without a log or something to help me. Even then, my mare would get antsy and move away while I did it. Your video is a blessing for me and has opened up a huge world that I have always tried to avoid. Thank you!- Susan Orton, Deer Island, OR |

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I watch your show and appreciate your approach, logic and explanations. I am glad to see that you are not a "quick fix-it" person and that you prescribe to the "it takes quality time" method. Most folds who have horses want the info but lack the how to use it and they are in need of patience so the both of them can learn together.- Andy Baxley, Forth Worth, TX |

They say you cannot teach an old horse (or it's rider) new tricks, but Ken threw the book away on that one. He helped me and my show horse to increase our versatility. I had way too much fun working with cattle and it will stick in my mind forever. My family (wife Jane and daughter Emma) enjoyed the experience of learning from Ken about horses, life, and family values; and that knowledge will help us for many years to come. His vast experience and his wisdom beyond his years, is unbelievable. We truly enjoyed a total "equine experience" during our week long clinic with you all.- Steven Leatherland, Dryden, Michigan |

Thank you for doing such a cool clinic. I really enjoyed it. Flash and I learned a lot. It was fun riding her for the first time alone. We both worked till we pooped out. But we hope you do another. We'd love to come again and learn even more. Maybe I can out-do my mom!!- Louise Beard (11 years old), Michigan |

Two weeks ago, I arrived expecting help with my horse, but I am leaving with much more. The last 2 years, I've lost 4 family members, including my mother and father. I'd finally hit the end of my rope. Being here and a part of your family gave me a breath. Ken gave me and Justin confidence in ourselves and our relationship. I feel our partnership is solid again. Kurt and Lavonne gave me the sense of family that I'll never have again. You have let me see what a solid, loving family relationship can do for each other and for a personal relationship that doesn't give as well as receive. You are a special family who is making a difference in many lives and in ways you may never know. I know I'm leaving here stronger and with a sense of calm that I haven't felt in a couple years. I have a lot facing me, but I feel I can handle it now. Thanks again for everything.- Jill Riyer, |

The entire program was very enjoyable. My fondest memory was the work with my unbroke, "Ruger." It was such a thrill to take a baby with no prior training, and get him to the point that he was going into streams, crossing bridges and climbing mountains. It was the most rewarding part of the training to me. Your program is very thorough and created a wonderful foundation for all that we will do with horses. After having spent 3 weeks in a beautiful setting doing what I love, it was hard to leave. I pray that I'll be able to retain the knowledge and experience you provided me with and use it to, like yourself, do what I love as my job. Thank you again for everything!- Tamera Korleski, Massachusetts |

Every hour that goes by reinforces so much I learned from you both, and I'm not even talking "horse stuff." Love, commitment, hard work, patience, kindness, acceptance - key elements of the McNabb clinic, along with roundpens, side pass etc.... I am a very lucky woman to have spent three weeks in your company!!!! Thank you for opening your hearts as well as your skills.- Michele Bowker, Washington |
