America’s Horse, June 17, 2010 – The host of “Discovering the Horseman Within,” Ken McNabb, was one of the clinicians at the 2010 QuarterFest in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Ken’s clinic on colt starting can now be seen online for free at America’s Horse TV.
First held in 2009, QuarterFest was a three-day, education-packed celebration where AQHA members and horse enthusiasts gathered for fun, entertainment and festivities to honor the horse.
At QuarterFest, McNabb, the two-time participant in the Road to the Horse colt-starting challenge, talked about how wearing spurs when starting colts causes unnecessary drama for a young horse. The clinic can be seen online at anytime, thanks to the use of Flash technology on America’s Horse TV, allowing viewers to instantly watch without waiting for a download. America’s Horse TV is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with no need for a special cable or subscription. All that’s needed is a computer and Internet access.
America’s Horse TV has multiple educational channels for viewers such as America’s Horse, Health, How-To, Ranches, and People & Horses, which are sponsored by AQHA Corporate Partners Bank of America, Pfizer, Tractor Supply Company, FedEx and John Deere.
