Ken McNabb Big Success At White Knight Arena |

“I learned more in just a few days from Ken McNabb than I have in 6 years of taking riding lessons back home in California” stated Lucy Greene of Temecula, California. Lucy was just one of many satisfied participants at Ken McNabb’s 3-Day Horsemanship clinic that took place at The White Knight Arena in Joplin, Missouri. Riders and spectators traveled from many states that included Mississippi, Tennessee, Iowa and Illinois. They were willing to travel these distances to listen and learn from Ken McNabb’s wealth of horsemanship knowledge and his practical skills that are taught with a step-by-step, common sense teaching style.
Ken McNabb’s Practical Horsemanship Clinic consists of two daily sessions: a morning session for beginning horsemanship and an afternoon session for those more advanced riders.
The dynamic duo of Sondra Booker and Arlene O’Brian were back this year from Licking, Missouri. Having attended Mr. McNabb’s first clinic at The White Knight Arena in 2008 they were some of the first to sign up for his 2009 visit. I am pleased to say that it was officially announced at this clinic that RFD-TV’s Ken McNabb will be returning to Joplin in 2010! Tom and Darlene Smith of Mitchellville, Iowa traveled approximately 6 hours to insure that their granddaughter, Cassidy got three full days of horsemanship instruction from her “hero”. Cassidy and Amy Steelman (daughter of rider, Gail) were featured on KODE-7 and KOAM-14 while getting their boots signed by the nationally acclaimed horse trainer and clinician. Later that evening, Cassidy told her Granddad that “dreams do come true”. Last I heard, plans are in the works for Grandpa and Grandma to bring Cassidy back for Ken McNabb’s next visit to Joplin in 2010. I certainly hope that you can join them at The White Knight Arena!
